The article argues that judicious use of the students' native language (Ll) can enhance foreign language (L2) acquisition. It presents four practical exercises that demonstrate effective integration of Ll into L2 teaching: interactive "Sit-next-to-me" exercise, two-language dictation, bilingual storytelling, and group mirroring activity. The author emphasizes the need to vary teaching techniques and expose students to pure L2.
